(A Legend of Zelda AU) The Hero of Time is born again along with the Princess of Destiny, Zelda. To prevent him from becoming the Hero's Shade and linger on in regret once more, the goddesses have reincarnated his twin sister, Meagan, to help protect and fight alongside him during their battles against evil. However, being reincarnated in the right place at the right time does not come without a cost. She must fight off evil forces called creepypastas and bring order and light to all realms. Link, Zelda, and Meagan cannot fight them off alone however. Their friends, Prince Ian and Mohammad, lend their hands to help defeat the darkness that would cover all of the world. This is the Story of Link becoming the Hero of the Wild. The Hero of Hyrule, and foremost the biggest Talk all over Hyrule. He was the strongest and best warrior, and it's obvious to anyone who knows Link, not everyone does, unfortunately. Even the person he has to protect with his life, later on, doesn't know him and only troubles his life even more. Having to fight against all the people you swore to protect is hard but Link can do it. Right? The characters are not owned by me they are from Nintendo, also this Story will play before the Calamity and it will also be a lot different than the original game. There is a similar (yet very different) idea written as a Story by @HylianAtHeart the Story is called "The Origin of a Champion" and it's one of the best Storys I've ever read. So check it out.

Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past.
