Phoenix - A Zutara Titanic AU

When the time came to wake up and join his family at breakfast and return to the land outside his head, Zuko never allowed the slightest hint of his emotions to slip. It was torture to hide, yet he knew too well how his family would react if he expressed any ungratefulness for his position, let alone genuine hatred and despair. So he stood up straight and set his face in a neutral expression and spoke only courteous and customary words. Outwardly, he was everything a well brought up prince should be. Inside, he was screaming.

A Zutara Titanic AU where Katara is Jack and Zuko is Rose. Several creative liberties were taken, with elements drawn from Titanic and applied to the world of Avatar: the Last Airbender. There is no war and no Avatar; Aang is a normal airbender. Most of the main characters are aged up by two years except for Aang and Toph, who I wanted to keep at 12.
