Hi my name is Mary Jo Carlson I am 17 years old also I am an orphan. My mom died when I was 13 and i don't know about my dad. My mom says he walked out on us when I was 3, but I don't remember him. I had no other family because they were all dead. The next couple of days after my mom died the cops showed up at my house saying I have to find a person to live with but they have to be my family. Otherwise I would have to be an orphan and live in a group home.
