This is a short story about a concept i came up with. I hope you enjoy it, my writing isn't very good :).

Mostly in the perspective of our beloved papyrus, however there is a little bit of frisk's perspectives. This included some of my head canons, but of course it's up for interpretation any way you'd like! I hope you enjoy it and tips are appreciated! :)

Hi guys this is a new story based off of the game undertale. Also this is my first fanfic I have ever written so I hope you like it. Frisk is 13 and so is chara. Sans is 130 which basically means he's 13 in monster years. Papyrus is 160 and toriel is 170 aka 17. Undyne is also 170. Mettaton is a girl. Alphys is 160.Завершенная история
Undertale; Despair AU 《REWRITE》
What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). (I DON'T OWN UNDERTALE. The only characters I own are Bailey and Creame.) All the monsters live happily in the underground: until one human ruins everything. Bailey Hill is a normal, 11 year old girl- until she trips, and falls into Mt.Ebott. Quick to befriend the monsters, Bailey is instantly loved by everyone. When monsters start mysteriously disappearing, Bailey is on the case. What she doesn't know, though, is that a small team, co-led by Undyne and Sans, are working as secret spies in the background. After hearing about the disappearances, Bailey thinks she can solve the mystery- but when Bailey has a shocking realization, she realizes that she might not be so innocent after all. ------------------------------------------- Changes: IMPORTANT: Frisk and Chara don't and never exist(ed) Monsters don't mind the underground, so Alphys never did the experiments. Still Relevant: Mettaton never left, and Napstablook is constantly being featured on his show The amalgamates don't exist since those monsters never fell down. Napstablook and Shyren are now younger than in-game, Napstablook - 12 and Shyren - 14. More on Napstablook- Since Mettaton never left, Napstablook is just shy.
