Alyx and Trevor are the last of the once-famed Belmont family. Now scorned and disgraced, they wander the land of Wallachia looking for shelter, food and money wherever they can find it. 

That is, until they hear of night hordes sweeping the lands - and of the legendary Dracula, who brings his terror upon the helpless villages of Wallachia after the Church murdered his wife for the grave accusation of being a witch. After stumbling into a town full of frightened people who have been hit by the night hordes time and time again, they meet a small, reclusive religious sect called the Speakers. 

Meeting a Speaker magician named Sypha Belnades, the two venture into the catacombs below the war-ravaged city to find a sleeping saviour -

It's been several months since Dracula was killed by his own son, Alucard. Several months since Alyx Belmont last saw her brother, Trevor, after he parted ways with her to embark on new adventures with the Speaker magician, Sypha Belnades. And several months since Alyx first agreed to live with Alucard in the castle that was his childhood home, right above her old childhood home, the Belmont estate. Most of their time living together has been morose, quiet. During the day, Alucard is observant, soft-spoken, sometimes hardly saying a word. Some would say even mournful. But during the night, their evenings are filled with passion, tangled in the sheets with kisses and sweet nothings. During the night, Alyx and Alucard come alive with the flames of their newfound romance. The half-vampire and the human monster hunter. But when a pair of human twins come knocking at their door, telling tales of their escape from a former member of Dracula's old war court... their relative peace is shattered as Alyx Belmont and Alucard "Adrian" Tepes are pulled again into a war that they didn't ask for. Eventually you left your small home with your dog and your bow, heading for the nearest city Gresit to go back to your old life as a mercenary.
