After an Elomin task force goes missing, the New Republic sends its best and bravest to uncover what has happened. All the while, rumors spread from one side of the galaxy to the other--of a new threat emerging from the unknown regions, simply referred to as the heir to the Empire.

This is an adaptation that will attempt to preserve and respect the original story while delivering a new and exciting take on it. This is a nonprofit STAR WARS™ based fanfiction set in a canon divergent universe created after Return of the Jedi and set during the Mandalorian. It is designated to replace the official Lucasfilm's Sequel Trilogy created in 2015-2019 and will be a forerunner to TRC's sequel rewrite trilogy set 30 years after these events. Immediately following the events of The Last Jedi, the battle for the galaxy continues between the First Order and the last of the Resistance.
