Raksha's world is divided by race. Demons reside in the realm of hell, and humans inhabit a place known as the Deadlands, while the Seraphs or angels reside in the Hereafter. These races coexisted with a treaty barely held intact. Raksha was born a Seraph, a supposedly superior race that has it all, but she doesn't seem to think so.  Throughout her whole life, all she has known was the walls of her own home. 
           When forced to attend the famous Swords Cross Academy, she must fight to stay above its dark depths. A looming darkness will threaten to destroy Raksha's life as she knows it. She will have to learn how to work together with the other warriors if they are going to survive an upcoming war. One wrong step will lead to certain death.
