Determined it wouldn't happen again the two part peacefully. However, after a confusing and violent incident with Airachnid the two begin seeking each other out to relieve tension. But a relationship born of a one night stand turned booty call turns into something so much more. Will the love they build be enough to save Dreadwing from himself? And will he be the one to finally help the damaged femme heal from old deep psychological wounds inflicted by an ex? Warnings: sex obviously. Lots of it. Lots of swearing too. I've been aware for a while that despite my ramblings about Optimus and Cordelia, I haven't explored their relationship from the first movie...as in how they bonded, etc. This fic does go slightly AU as what I wanted for Lia and Optimus just didn't work with the plot of the movies. The movies and the events that happened in them are still canon, but I have gone off the beaten track a little.
