Shouta (Aizawa) was an alcoholic, he knew the first step was admitting that, but the truth was, he had no chance of denying it. From his physically evident non-existent self-care and hygiene neglect, to the daily bar and convenience store visits. It was impossibly obvious and he would be a fool to think no one would agree he was an alcoholic. It was the main reason he didn't have any meaningful relationships left, he hadn't had a friend or even a one night stand in a few years. He didn't think about much else other than getting shit faced and after a while the friends started dropping off one by one.
