As the Murder Drones begin to build a literal tower of corpses, the remaining Worker Drones hide underneath the ice and behind blast doors built by Uzi's father, Khan. In the present, Uzi harbors dreams of saving the planet and gaining her father's respect by killing the Murder Drones, thus allowing the Worker Drones to live in peace.
