At night, all of IceClan's apprentices gather, voices barely above whispers, for fear of the warriors listening in. The tension within IceClan is nearly at a breaking point. The new leader, Sleetstar, and his deputy, Scalefeather, are about to split them in two, and every apprentice in the den, no matter who they support, is familiar with the fear that claws at their hearts.
Meanwhile, a forgotten prophecy looms in their future. Their medicine cat's first apprentice, Meadowpaw, died very young, but before she did, StarClan gifted her a vision. Little did the Clan know that the memory of this first forgotten omen would come back to haunt them in the worst possible way.
