You grew up with Michael, high school ended a couple days ago and well, you have summer before you need to head off to college. Michael decided against college but sometimes it seems like it wasn't his decision. While you may have been close in childhood, all the trauma in his life has really created some distance. The guy is an only child now, having lost his siblings years ago, while he wasn't going to win the Best Brother of the Year Award, they were still his siblings. Now on borrowed time, you try and rekindle any bit of friendship to leave on good terms. You definitely plan on coming back for breaks and summer vacations in the future as well as when you're done but that won't be for a while. Plus, if you can't seem to be friends by the end of the summer, you might just let the guy have the distance... Keep his walls up like they always have been. He was only 14 and yet it seemed like his entire school was out to get him. However, one day 3 new kids come to town and immediately hit it off with Michael. William calls them his son's "temporary friends". The 4 kids become close friends very quickly. They all start making fun of Michaels youngest siblings, Evan, more an more. One day, it gets out of hand and everything goes wrong. William hates Michael after that. How could he let that happen to his younger brother? Soon enough, his son will be a loner again. With no friends. He was going to take away Michael's friends. He will make sure of that. They were a temporary service after all.
