When it comes to girls there are usually two types of stories. One where at the beginning the girl is a goody two shoes, a guy comes along and brings her wild side out. Suddenly the girl is drinking, vandalizing and canoodling in the pond with this newly acquired bad boy. While the other one is where the girl is beyond repair; a guy comes along and gives ambition to her life. This girl studies for one week with her hot geeky savior, gets straight As and an admission in Ivy league with partial scholarship. (yeah right) This story is more believable version of the latter with fun loving, care free teenager pressured into planning and working towards a perfect future, while rest of her friends enjoy a happening college life. Follow Arya’s story as she rambles in her diary about her newly imposed goals of studying abroad, her struggles to reach them while simultaneously balancing weight issues, boy friend problems and stretches of silence between her best friend. Warning: This story contains a lot of things your mother never told you.

You know how in all the stories there's a nerd or an 'average girl' who ends up with the super popular, perfect jock that gave up his player ways just to have her? Yeah, well real life isn't like that. After a joke that went a little too far, I found myself with a crush on one of the most popular guys in the school. Unfortunately, I didn't get a happy ending like in all the books and movies. He didn't feel the same. Never did and never will... ...but maybe the happy ending isn't always about getting the guy.
