Far From Home is a new WWII Novel about the bloody fighting on the Eastern Front of World War II. We follow a German Squad of men within the 71st Infantry Division. Men of this Unit, some veterans, some new and old men of war from the beginning of Operation Barbarossa to the Soviet flag waving above the Berlin streets.    

It follows a man named Hans Dietermann and his squad throughout his time in Army Group South and is based on a real account of a German Communications officer in the 71st Infantry Division who was wiped out In Stalingrad. Note this will have changes from the original material.

This is my first countryhumans story so it's not that good. East Germany knows he shouldn't be alive, yet here he is, living with the man who raised him. He never really questioned it though. He was just happy to be alive. That is until his adopted father starts struggling to heal himself as quickly as he used to and East starts to worry. The entire world that he lives in is beginning to unravel and East learns things he never could have imagined. There's also a lot of stuff about Russia in this and I don't know why. He's not even supposed to be a major character but I have like 7 chapter dedicated to him.
