A second chance at love, just for one night... 1986. Mousey's unexpected reunion with Bunny in his mid-twenties led to a soul-searching expression of feelings and desires. Their pet nicknames from high school brought forth a wealth of memories, compelling them to finally complete a stunted teenage romance. Unfortunately, Bunny's damaged condition left no bright future, only a fading past and gloomy present. Would it be enough? A friends-to-lovers, bittersweet short memoir. Mature for themes and language.

An autobiographical tale of love, hope, and perseverance, my debut novel begins at the moment of my cruelest heartache that left me stunned and confused. In order to understand and deal with what happened, I take a darkly comic journey back through my life, examining more than 50 moments of true love, epic gestures, romance and foolish decisions. From tear -jerking stories, to heartbreaking awkward hilarity, the book reveals stories of my greatest loves to life changing moments with strangers. It's a story about living life against all the odds (and rules)and ultimately a story about hope because sometimes bad lives, happen to good people. The book evokes two forms of storytelling, a story being told in real time, and flashbacks over my life, with both timeline finally meeting up in one moment that changes everything.
