Hiccup and Toothless left Berk thinking no one cared. Being the neglected child of Berk (despite his family, and being the heir to the village), Hiccup decided he'd had enough. He took Toothless and his most treasured belongings and high-tailed it out of there. When he runs into his long-lost mother, life looks up for Hiccup. He's found a place where he belongs. Toothless has always told Hiccup that vikings are cruel, horrible people that kill dragons for the fun of it, and that he should stay as far away from them. The Chief's wife thinks it's unfair to torture a child like this, but when Stoick lays eyes on this boy, he has other plans. Will he and his dragon escape in time? How would the story go if Hiccup had been taken by Cloudjumper instead of Valka? What if Hiccup was raised by the dragons, in the ice sanctuary, for twenty years? Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk. Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly. Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk?
