Aelyx Blackfyre was the second child of Maera Blackfyre and Addison Fireball, born in the year 282 AC on the island of Ibben, just north of Essos.

He was the grandson of the infamous Maelys the Monstrous.

Often following in his brother's footsteps, his duty was to help his family take the Iron Throne from the pretender, Robert Baratheon.

But destiny had other plans.

Destiny led him straight to Daenerys Targaryen.
