Maya Smith, a senior just trying to survive high school, annoying teachers, and endless homework. But there's one thing ...or, one person. Who makes it all a little more bearable: Owen Jones. He's smart, funny(in Maya's eyes), the co-captain of the football team, and completely off-limits. Why? Because he's her older brother's best friend. They've known each other for years. Backyardrd barbecues, family movie nights, awkward small talk in the kitchen. But lately, Maya's feelings have changed. Ever since freshman year, her feelings started to grow for him. Yet she ignores them. Falling for your brother's best friend was never part of the plan. But neither was falling this hard. Can Maya risk it all for a chance at love? Even if it means breaking all the rules? In the Process of editing
