Enter Leia Meadows. She isn't the brightest girl in school, but that doesn't stop her from pushing herself. She thought freshman year was going to be a blast, with her sophomore friend Annaleigh Rushman by her side.
As luck would have it, Leia came into high school without a single friend, Annie having moved on to bigger and better things.
But just when she thinks it could get worse, she bumps into Chris "Richie" Richards, a sophomore who just so happens to be one of the most popular kids in school.
