Maeve, was a quite unique girl. Whoever witnessed her smile or laugh was instantly intoxicated by her presence, and thats what happened to a particular twin who's eyes had been roaming the Great Hall when he laid his sight on a particular Hufflepuff. She grew up learning from a young age that she was a witch. Her parents surrounded her with magic and Magical Creatures. Her grandfather left her dad his studies and animals. Her first pet was a Puffskein, not your average household pet for most, but for her it was just perfect. Except when it stuck its tongue up her nose when she was napping. But none the less, she grew up happy and surrounded with love and magic. This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Complete
