Growing up with a parents who expected nothing but perfection from their only daughter has gotten me pretty far in life so far. I mean I did just finish my neonatal fellowship making me double-certified in pediatrics and neonatal surgery. But, those expectations did do some internal damage. Hence the high-functioning anxiety. Which got even worse after my perfection expecting parents passed away suddenly while I was in college. Somehow that put even more pressure on me to succeed. But, now, I think I finally have it all. The perfect, dotting, boyfriend, the career, the friends. Until one moment flips my entire world on its' head and there's only one person who can bring me out of the darkness.
