Scar didn't ask to move to a new town for his last secondary year. He didn't ask to leave behind his old friends, his routines, or the version of himself he thought he had all figured out. But when his mum insists on a fresh start, Scar has no choice but to roll with it. What he doesn't expect is Grian-bright-eyed, sharp-tongued, and the school's resident troublemaker. Grian thrives on chaos. He's the guy teachers warn you about, the one parents hope you avoid, and the reason the principal keeps a stack of detention slips on standby. But beneath his smirks and rebellious streak lies someone who's been running from his own fears for far too long. When Scar and Grian are thrown together for a group project, sparks fly-literally. What starts with a prank gone wrong turns into late-night adventures, whispered conversations in empty hallways, and a connection neither of them saw coming. The Hermits are back for Season 8 and some of them have been playing in a death game called 3rdLife. But the ending was a lot harder to cope with for one of them. Can Grian cope with the guilt slowly overtaking him? Will he be able to ever look Scar in the eyes again? Meanwhile, Scar seems his happy self. That slowly changes when his beloved pesky bird seems to avoid him. Aka, Grian doesn't want to make the same mistakes, but does. And Scar tries to figure out why things have changed.
