Jasmine Bennett is a very familiar vampire to those around her. She was born in 1967, turned in 1984. Her father Samuel Carmine is a vampire, who has been around for over 70 years, and her mother is a well-known witch, a Bennett witch. Of course, it wasn't possible to be a vampire and witch and create children, but the couple got very lucky. At a young age, Jasmine had to decide if she wanted to continue being a witch or if she wanted to change, to turn into a vampire. She made her choice of course.
In the late 1980s, she fell in love with a man named Damon Salvatore, who happened to be her father's best friend. He left her one day, scared that he'd hurt her. She stayed back, with her best friend and his brother Stefan Salvatore. After leaving Mystic Falls, in 2007 she came back. If only she knew what was in store for her two years later.
