His older siblings, Kiara and Kopa, hurt him mentally and physically, and Nala pretended like he didn't exist. Kion hated his life. He did everything for his family, and they still treated him like a nobody. The Lion Guard wasn't any better. He cried in his grandmother Sarabi's arms every night. She was the only one who cared for him. She tried getting Nala to love him, but Nala refused. That night, Kion finally fell asleep with his grandmother, but that was the last night he would ever see her again... Without his grandmother, everything just got worse. Kion ran away. The only place he could think of, was the Outlands. Zira happily let Kion into her pride, knowing he would be a great ally. Evil crept into Kion's soul, but he tried to ignore it. Kion visited the Pridelands sometimes, hoping his father, and family had changed, but they never did. Simba noticed Kion leaving and coming back almost every day, and followed him. When Kion was caught, Simba was furious. He told Kion he had to choose. Kion was put into a situation where he had to decide from respect, love, and affection, or his family. Kion had one week to decide, but in one week, there can be many changes, and in that week, Kion found love...but was it what he wanted? When Simba told Kion to decide, Kion was in fury. Before Nala had given birth to Kion she grew terribly ill forcing them to travel to the Tree of Life to get help. On the trip Zira betrayed her friend and stole Kion. Not having time to hunt her down they had to abandon Kion as they didn't have time to spare on prolonged search's. As time went on Kion's twin sister Shayla became the future Queen of the Pride Lands while Kion who now went by Krux trained under Zira to end his family and help her reinsert herself into the Pride Lands as its Queen. But what happens when a mission of infiltration turns into a mission of familial trust?
