The gripping story centers around a nineteen-year-old drug mule from Detroit named Kareem Chestnut, who is blackmailed into being the bait in an undercover FBI operation to catch a mysterious killer targeting African-American boys of an affluent Missouri high school. 

Being a victim of his environment, sixteen-year-old Kareem Chestnut, a street-smart orphan of vile and crime-infested Citizen, Detroit, had no choice but to become a drug mule to survive. And he was comfortably trapped in his bubble until one fateful night, agents in black unexpectedly burst into his life, threatening him with shocking charges, including murder, which could potentially imprison him for life.
