This short story was written following some advice I was given about overcoming Writer's Block. You pick some random words out of your head or from a book/newspaper or whatever and assign a number to each word. I chose about 20 words and decided to use 8 or 9 of them for my story. You can choose them by putting the numbers in a jar and randomly picking some out, or ask someone else to say some numbers between 1 and 20. Once you have your words you can use some or all of them to build your story. I found this advice very useful and determined to use all the words, even if the story seems a bit forced at times. Anyway, thank you for bearing with me so far. I decided to write about a woman who obviously has too much time on her hands. Sarah is quick to find fault with everything and is judgemental of other people. The appearance of a new postman to the area certainly set her off! The words I drew to build the story are: strong postman beard car park recorded steal feast businessman shoot
