Sometimes life can get so hectic that we fail to stop, take a breath and just be still. For years I have been committed to having a quiet time each day where I read the Bible and talk to God about what is on my heart, which has been really wonderful but it just struck me today as I began my quiet time that I need to take more time to LISTEN when God is trying to speak to me. When I am more open to Him leading my quiet time, it's so much better! God has so much He wants to say, so much He wants to teach me. The Road to Knowing
We get saved and set out on a wonderful road to know our Savior and Creator. Many are there to tell us just what to do. Few are there to tell us how to do it. The road that seemed smooth and wonderful begins to turn rocky and muddy. We bog down, we grow discouraged.
