The Freak Trials

Okay I had a thought about doing a fanfic/short story based on x-men AND hungergames; in a world who'd just survived the zombie virus, some people's DNA changed as a sideaffect to the Cure. They grew special powers. With a goverment scared and on guard, they decided they were going to control the 'freaks'. They listed all existing people with powers, and they started an annual game with the mutant's in them. They chose which were going to percipitate, from adults to teenagers, and created challenges inside the games. The players had to face Them and the other players, because only a handful or less got to survive every year. But when an eight year old gets thrown into the games, people start to protest. An revolution starts building up, showing people's real colors.
