Losing a loved one is hard. It's even harder when the person is a close family member. Harriet lost her brother when she was nine years old. And after his death she feels like the whole universe is trying to erase her brother's existence. Especially with the arrival of her cousin, Andrew.
Andrew was ten when his family dies in a car crash. Having nowhere to go he is taken in by his father's brother's family. He bottles the sadness and anger of losing his family without realising the damage it causes.

Grace was the quintessential sheltered girl.
