Cassidy Jones-Sparks, known as CJ to everyone who knows what's good for them, just wanted an easy summer. Of course, nothing is easy when you're living in the Cut, surrounded by Kooks and other riff-raff. Her sole solace is found with the Pogues, her ride or die friends. That sweet solace is quickly and brutally murdered when she finds herself wrapped up in a century old treasure hunt thanks to John B's father. If CJ knows one thing, it's that she didn't sign up for this shit but she's in it for the money. And maybe the cute blond boy with biting wit. Maybe.
