Taking place in the late 70s in Gotham City in the midst of a gang war between Rupert Thorne and Oswald Cobblepot for control of Gotham's Underworld, a vigilante calling himself 'The Batman' has taken to the streets and rooftops dishing out his brutal band of justice towards the guilty whether it's brutally beating them to a pulp or outright murdering them. It has some of the criminals running scared and that's not even the half of it. However, the butler- Alfred Pennyworth- decided to help the father and his daughter. sending a private jet to Boston so it could pick both Y/n and her father up to bring them to gotham. While Y/n's father was getting treated in the hospital, Y/n went on a job hunt. She was allowed to stay in the manor of course but Y/n decided it was best for her to get a small apartment, so she did. Y/n had soon turned nineteen, and she went into training to become a skilled detective for the GCPD. And she hasnt had Any contact with Bruce Wayne even since she arrived at gotham. The only one she talked to was alfred. Bruce of course didnt know that his parents friend had a child. But when he heard the knews. He was most definitely shocked. This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more. And she become the vigilante called The Viper --------------------------------------------------------------------- This story with contact mature themes such as violence. this story will also follow the events of The Dark Knight trilogy, but it will also merge into other storylines. so eventually Bruce and Y/n will adopt Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and instead of Talia having Damian, Y/n has Damian instead

As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it! Disclaimer: This story is an original idea, of course I reference moments from DC comics and I borrow their characters to tell the story (After all, It's a fan fiction), but each character belongs to the respective owners.

Call him psychotic and cruel if ya want, but to me and my mom, he's sweet as coconut cream bomb pie! My crazy momma and daddy were locked up by Batsy when I was ten years old. The stupid good guys didn't think the Clown King and Queen of Gotham had a little Clown Princess named Y/n Quinn or on the streets of Gotham with Aunt Poison Ivy: Jester. On and off again, my parents broke out of jail and returned home til I left home and my mom was sent to Belle Reve. I made a name for myself in the dark underground of Gotham at the age of eighteen making my parents proud of their psychotic little girl, all the scum and villains knew who I was then one day lead to me being caught by Batsy and his little bat family then shipped off to Arkham Asylum Prison where I'd find him! My own Harlequin! HAHAHAHA!! Gotham City: the definition of crime. The mob, gangs, and organized crime had dominated the streets. The police are mere annoyances to the law breakers in the town, as they have not had Gotham in control for decades. That is until a hero arrives. Or rather, a vigilante. Bruce Wayne is a billionaire who has personally seen and lost so much of the crime in this city, having had his parents murdered in front of him as a child. Using his feat of bats as an inspiration, Bruce soon dawned the name of "Batman" and became the one thing to stop criminals I'm the city, bringing hope in fear. Now when someone is sneaking illegal equipment into Gotham, it's time for the Dark Knight to team up with Jason Todd, ,otherwise known as "Robin", to track and prevent the criminal mastermind planning the operation that could possibly be worse than all the criminals combined could do.
