A bunch of things happened when once Kol was daggered for many centuries. I don't own most of these characters or the scene they all belong to The vampire diaries. All I own is Cadance Roberts and Kol's twin brother and other people that's not in the show

Here she meets the Mikaelson family, where they were still human, and their youngest member, Henrik, is still alive. Elena was brought here for a reason, to save herself, her friends, and perhaps the Originals future. During this time, she's trying to find out why is she in the past. She became friends with the whole family of the Originals, but most with Rebekah and Kol. Finley Maddox had the sometimes-unfortunate role of being said best friend. She and Damon had been best friends since he and his brother were human. Things, however, don't always last long. Fin felt awful for leaving when she did but had done it with the right intentions. She knew it needed to be done, if not for the possibility of the town questioning her inability to age, then for knowing that she couldn't allow herself to get attached. Knowing she had to go eventually before people got suspicious, later finding out her best friend and his brother had been turned in vampires by the one and only Katherine Pierce 90% of the time, things were somewhat normal and for the two, even normal was bizarre. But Fin managed to keep her wits intact while also protecting one of the few she actually cared about. Things got harder when Damon and his brother Stefan moved back to Mystic Falls; Stefan wanting to have a bit of normality in his life and Damon, in search of who he thought to be the woman he loved. Safe to say, that although Fin stayed where she lived while Damon went to Mystic Falls, it wasn't long before Damon called her and asked for her to come help him.
