Shifters had ruled the good and the bad of Nina's life, well mostly the bad. The only good shifter she knew was her father. Even then she couldn't count on him to tell her the truth. The only thing Nina could count on was herself. Her logic, her control, and her sound mind... which she can count on around Todd.
Todd loved a good manual, guidelines, recipes, rule book, whatever you call it. He followed them to the letter, how to fix an engine, how to build to house, how to keep the plants alive. They made life easy. All Todd wants out of life was a mate that followed the textbook. Though no rule book could prepare him for Nina.
Will Nina discover that Todd is someone she could count on? or will Todd discover that some mates aren't worth ignoring the manual for?
