Tomas Crosson, the Australian foreign student of Shujin Academy, never fit into anything in the small time he's lived in Japan. Along with this, his past failures have made him detest himself as a person, along with the rest of society. However, after getting contacted by his shadow and unnerving events occur in the real world, Tomas contacts the phantom thieves and requests for them to steal his heart, forcing himself to face his inner demons on his perception of the world. Can the thieves rob Tomas of his distorted desire, or will the world reflect this desire and fall to ruin?

Spoilers for the ending for both base Persona 5 as well as Persona 5 Royal.

After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!!
