the world is told to be fright. and the inside is not much better, safe from whatever is outside. but this boy, Jake, does not believe it completely, could be one of the government's lies to keep them contained. then things start to change, things that turn for the worse. Jake is more determined then ever to escape this hell will he succeed or fall as others have before? (there is no sexual context in any way, but there is gruesome death and consistent swearing, but No sexual content is present. this is a book inspired by "the girl with all the gifts" and "maze runner" if you like those books, this is a suggested book for me.) Also feedback and thoughts on this book would be great thank you!

What would you do if you were the last human being on an earth filled with flesh eating monsters and happened to stumble upon a strange book that seems to draw you in? Would you read it? Or would you leave it? A youth who calls themself Don, has found themselve in this situation. After finding a strange book and meeting someone calling himself Don's 'imaginary friend', our protagonist's life of constant survival has been turned upside down.
