This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. This story follows the young prodigy Grant Alan, a scholar turned telekinetic, surviving in a strange new world after the colossal science vessel, the Halfpace, passes into a future very foreign to him, populated by anthropomorphic creatures that have dominated humanity after a planet-wide war. To ultimately find out what happened to the last vestiges of humanity, Grant must use his wits, friendships and newfound power to navigate this new and dangerous world while an ancient, malevolent force slowly corrupts its new anthro leaders. (This story contains depictions of violence, death & murder, gore, strong language and some moderate sexual scenes. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED) I wrote this because I was inspired by "A Man In A Beast's World" by @GhillieCamo. If you're looking for a mostly military type war story that is similar, this isn't the story for you. While the original inspiration stemmed from GhillieCamo's story, I wrote this story with the intention of creating an intense science-fiction experience, with some horror, thriller and mystery elements. If that isn't what you're looking for, you're simply in the wrong place. Though, I really think I put a lot of effort into this, so it would mean a lot to me to give it a chance. I am a huge fan of science-fiction, and this story definitely reflects that. If you like any of these: books with deep lore, furries, conflict, some romance & awkwardness, horror, robots, star trek, survival, time travel, supernatural powers and aliens, you'll probably like this story. The art in the story was created by me, so please, don't steal it.
