Leviathans are vicious creatures. They are rumored to be some of God's very first beasts, and thus pre-date angels, humans, demons and the soul itself. They are shapeshifters, and on top of that they are practically immortal. They feed on humans. There is only one known way to kill a leviathan. Dakota Blayke is a boy who lives in Jonah's Den. Jonah's Den is a safe-haven, away from levis, demons and other monsters that now roam the Earth. He lives with his older sister and brother, Mindy and Peter. But Peter went on a hunting trip and hasn't returned for a month now.
Some torture and a phone call later, Dakota and his rather attractive friend Augustus embark on a journey to save Peter and hopefully kick some leviathan ass.
