Cody leads the 212th battalion. His days are somehow complicated and simple, that constant litany of hurry up and wait every soldier hates knowing but still, there's a rhythm to it and he's as settled as a person in his place can be. But he has a problem, see, there's a mission coming up. He has to look at the troopers he's known for years, the ones he calls his vode, his siblings, and he has to pick one knowing no matter how good they are, no matter how skilled, this is one mission they won't come back from.
"Can I help you, soldier?" Cody asks the trooper at his door, armour just barely painted yet scuffed enough they can't be a shiny.
"I'm here to volunteer, sir."

Cody was used to looking after his younger brothers. It wasn't easy but he could manage. He's been looking after Bly since he was five. Then came Rex, then Wolffe. And then Fox. By the time, Cody moved out and didn't hesitate to take his little brothers in. They were better off with him than Jango. Then he found Jesse on his doorstep and not even a year later, Kix was also left at his door. Cody kept them, of course, but he called Jango and gave him a piece of his mind about leaving infants on the pavement in front of his doors. That was the last time Cody has heard of him. The next addition to his chaotic little family came in the forms of Fives and Echo. And it wasn't Jango this time who dropped them at Cody's, it was some poor girl that had the misfortune of meeting Jango in a bar. Apparently, Jango refused to have anything with her or their children but he was kind enough to give her Cody's number. Asshole. He learned of Wooley's existence through a social worker because apparently Jango left the baby alone at home for an entire day and someone heard him crying. Cody was officially done with him. Or so he thought. Because that was Jango knocking on the door and he had another baby in his arms. Clone Order 66 was the time when all Jedi died. All the Knights, padawans, and children of the force, dead. All but one, me. The clones killed them all. Every clone turned. During an un-planned rescue, I learned of a message from an old Jedi master. I regret my instant reaction to the instructions I was given. I've been told poems that don't make any sense by ghosts. Captain Rex's Journey
Star Wars, a series of films that began under George Lucas himself, and are being made under Disney-Lucasfilms productions... This story began as a Captain Rex fan fiction but I have evolved it into something more. Watch as Captain Rex and Jedi padawn Paul Hornen face off against the Empire and First Order, while also meeting legacy characters and protecting those they care about. The year is 5 BBY, roughly the time of the Empire's most powerful years. Captain Rex's mission of rescuing Cody will soon begin, and in doing so he wishes to form a rebellion to bring back the Republic. Hear the events that brought Rex back in action to rescue Cody and Anakin once and for all. [My Version cause I like to make up stories] 19 BBY to 34* ABY *It can change BTW: I do not own any Star wars characters, locations etc. These are given to George Lucas for creating an amazing not one but two trilogies and an another new one made by JJ Abrams. Also the story is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and is around Season 2 & 3 of Rebels. Advised to watch them before reading chapters 7 onwards. It will include all movies from Rogue One to The Last Jedi. *But characters like Paul Hornen which are made by me are mine...Terminé
Deep Avalanches
During a mission on Hays Minor that goes absolutely haywire, a very injured Obi-Wan Kenobi and the 212th's Marshall Commander Cody are trapped in a cave that has been completely and thoroughly blocked as a result of an avalanche. With no communication, limited supplies, and no clear exit point while one is heavily injured, it can be said that it has already proved to be difficult. With any signs of hope being diminished, will both Cody and Obi-Wan be able to keep some flick of faith through this hard time? Will the two men learn more about each other than they ever thought possible?
