"This story has no hero."
Set in the distant future, where the government has been overthrown, and a new world power has risen, known only by the Moniker "ARK Corporation." We follow Kasper as he fights to survive in a nightmare where wrong is made right, living means dying, and survival by any means is the new law. When humans begin mutating into monstrous creatures due to leaked rogue testing, with the singular drive to "feed", Kasper finds himself one of those infected, the choice of who to trust becomes much more complicated.
He learns that sometimes the monsters aren't as simple as the creatures that stalk in the night, sometimes the enemy is much more human than that. But amidst the chaos, there is one thing Kasper knows... one thing he is truly sure of... He is the worst of them all, and his mere existence means war. Choose your side, believe who you will. The Eden Projects will raise many moral dilemmas and will have the reader questioning just what is right, and where the line is drawn.

In the year 2364, Earth is nearly destroyed and extinct due to a war two decades prior. Only two global governments remain, The Terran Federation and The United Republic of Earth. Both come up with plans to save humanity and life on Earth with the projects themselves being secretive for unethical uses in both projects. Two high officials of the Terran Federation and parents to a healthy eleven year old son become skeptical of the idea for a possible future for their son Andrew. And as they are slowly cornered into having to work more and more on the project. They felt they only way to make sure their son was saved and protected from this project was to freeze him, and his pet dog. Promising him that they would return, however, they never do. Thousands of years later, Andrew awakens from his freeze to find himself on a desolate and terraformed planet that once was the Earth he knew and he has to learn to survive and find answers to why his parent's never returned. He also tries to find the answer if he is the only human alive on this dead planet. Only time will tell, time he doesn't have. Currently the story is still under work as there will be releasing a chapter every month to bimonthly. This is also the first draft of the story, any and all mistakes in lore or writing will be fixed in the final version. Chapters are released as early access free a couple days early on SurviveTheArks.com's Creative Chat Forum. Rating: This Story is rated between Teen or TV14 for Violence, Gore and brief/minimal Language. Ultimus is a heavily based upon the Lore of Ark Survival Evolved/Ascended, most particularly Extinction, Lost Colony, and the Genesis Chronicles. This story will try not to break any and all lore statements from Ark's story. The World of Ark is that of Studio Wildcard and is 100% owned by them, all main and side characters within the story are original creations of me except for potential appearances of Wildcard's characters from Ark.

*This story serves as an immediate reboot of the main Gel-Squad stories, essentially giving the universe a full reset with the exception of certain characters and plot lines! The Omeocoon and Panthorians no longer exist... they've evolved... completely, in every sense of the word, they are now just two 'genders' among seven, joined together in a massive galactic empire that presides over a massive fleet of nomadic starships. The Ashavelli, a powerful, highly intelligent, dangerous, and somewhat xenophobic civilization, is hard at work constructing the next city ship to add to their fleet. Despite their large galactic presence, they are elusive and eccentric, having vanished from the public eye eons ago. The story follows Corwin Kipp Nine, the newest 'member' of the Corwin family. Although CK9 is the youngest in terms of age, he is most certainly not by wisdom, as he is the clone of a lucrative company's founder by the same name. As a perfect genetic match, Kipp shares not only his appearance with the original but his intellect as well. Obsessed with his own immortality, Corwin Kipp has created 8 previous versions of himself like this, and all were CEO of his technological empire. After a dangerous group takes several important political figureheads out of the equation, no doubt as a way to derail the Citadel project, Kipp 9's "father," a military buff known as Corwin Russell, agrees to take a state-of-the-art prototype warship through the territory of their worst enemy, the Xalorians, to rescue Hiro Tommy, prince, and next in line to the throne of Cloud City, but most importantly a spy who knows the key to everything! The entire Corwin family joins Russell on his journey, and Kipp fights for his life and bonds with his adoptive father, as they battle to save the Citadel! Cover art by Lio!

The end came and went for humanity of old. An uncontrollable spark that quickly raged out of control. Tacet was there to see it. He lived and fought through it all, and in the process he lost all of his friends and suffered greatly. As the Great End came he closed his eyes, never expecting to wake up again, not even desiring to. Untold years pass, and he is awakened to his surprise in a world he could not recognise anymore. The last true human emerged to explore the plagued world of Terra. To find new purpose in a world dominated by the once emergent races that he fought. With this new world he came to realise of a great conflict within himself. The wolf type mutant race that he fought now evolved to what humanity failed to achieve. Stable human-animal hybrids. He met for the first time the refined race now known as lupos. His enemy of old now turned into graceful creatures that brought great strife within him. How will he reconcile his feelings in the face of the reckless and deadly lupo's of Rhodes Island? An Arknights fan novel. Tacet's fate branches out depending on which lupo fate guides him to meet first. This is the story of Tacet's fateful meeting with a certain wolf hunter. The base storyline is the same. Arknights - Wayfarer by Maxiception
7 parts Ongoing Mature
A lone kitsune within an endless wilderness. The life of a Catastrophe Messenger is one of uncertainty. With no end in sight, they traverse the incredibly hostile landscapes that define Terra beyond the walls of the nomadic cities, collecting and delivering vital information for the survival of Terran civilization against the onslaught of devastating Catastrophes. The story follows Apollo, a kitsune-turned-Catastrophe Messenger, through the many areas and aspects of Terra that individuals outside his profession will never get to witness. All while ensuring his own survival among an environment where nature itself is out for blood. "It's all about saving lives. More lives." ...How naive. If only it were that easy. Deadly anomalies. Dangerous wildlife. Tensions between factions whose effects cannot be avoided, even in the middle of nowhere. And a haunting past. In short... business as usual. Time to get to work. This story is a bit like Arknights meets Death Stranding, since the job of a 'Catastrophe Messenger' and general situation is strangely similar to a 'Porter'. It will operate almost completely independently from the plot of the game itself. This story is thus aimed more towards readers who like to immerse themselves into a unique perspective of the world of Arknights and not into a recreation of the in-game plot. So if you like Arknights, but can't wrap your head around the game's plot, then this story should fit for you. (Definetly not an excuse for the fact that the author is just interested in the general worldbuilding itself and not the game's plot directly.) As such, mistakes are to be expected, for this is my first experimental dive into the world of Arknights. Feel free to correct them if found. The 'Mature' tag is only for occasional descriptions of injuries and blood, as Messengers often face dangerous situations that can cause injury and sometimes even death. These will not be constant and not extreme. Arknights belongs to Yostar.
