Love in the Bamboo

A love story told in the mystical world: Kingdom of Animalia. The Kingdom of Animalia is a heavenly realm ruled by the Royal family, also known as the Great Panda Immortals: King Axel and Queen Madronna. Their princess daughter: Kyra, completes tribulations to prepare herself to become the next ruler one day after her mother and father's cultivation will be too weak to continue to preserve the light of Lotus, the source of Animalia's existence. After 1000 years, Kyra reunites with her childhood friend, the military commander of Animalia: Clover. Clover is a red panda immortal that has served under the King after his father deceased in a tragic event. Before Kyra and Clover began their paths to adult hood, they spent a lot of time together as children. During their separation, Clover continued to think about Kyra. He would watch over her during his Earth missions. When the two reconnect after 1000 years apart, they begin to spend a lot of time together in between their duties at the Kingdom. As time passes, Clover finally admits his love for Kyra. Kyra is hesitant as the Kingdom's moral code forbids different animal immortals from having relations with one another.
In other words, Kyra must only marry another Great Panda immortal so she can have a King to rule by her side and continue the Great Panda lineage. Clover and Kyra's love for one another is not only affected by the royal hardships and trials but is also tested by other's malicious actions that cause misunderstandings between the two. There are other immortals who wish to not only destroy their love and royal occupations, but have goals intended to satisfy their own desires and dreams within the story. During their journey, Kyra and Clover must choose between the laws of their world or follow their hearts to make their world accept their love, even if it costs one's life.
