10 years ago, the psychic, Genkai used her powers to create the only cure for the 'pulse' curse. a terrible, and deadly power that rears its head in children of all species and was previously a death sentence for any found to possess it. Now little Yumi is about to turn 16 and prepares to enter the public school system for the first time! After ten years of training, studying under her master's tutelage, Yumi has managed to get into Meiou Academy, but Lord Koenma has a condition to her living among the humans... What will happen when she and the spirit detective's friends are forced to cross paths?

This is my first shot at a story based off of Yu Yu Hakusho. I do not own yu yu hakusho or any of its characters. 

I only own my ocs. 
Kenji is based very loosely off the character from Camp Cretaceous.
Ben, Suni, Kona, and Maru are my own creations for this series. 

Ecovehn is based off old native lore. 
Mako is based off a specific tomcat from my published book. 
More characters will likely be added, but I wanted to share some of the basis for the cast.
