When everyone found out that Izuku was quirkless, Katsuki was furious... at first. The two fell out, yeah, but it only lasted a few months.
When Katsuki saw some of those extras that followed him attacking Deku, HIS Deku, he snapped. His body moved on its own, and he found himself punching, screaming, and blasting them until they ran off. Izuku looked up with tears streaming down his face, shocked.
Katsuki placed a hand on his knee as he bent down to help Izuku up. "Don't listen to a word they say, Deku. You're still gonna be a hero. I'll make sure of it." Katsuki pulled the smaller boy up before lightly punching his arm. "Not as good as me, obviously. You can settle for number two."
Izuku giggled wetly and hesitantly countered, "We'll see, Kachan. If you're helping me, then I'll surpass even you someday!"
Katsuki scoffed and led the way back to his house. "Yeah, I'd like to see you try!"
