Because of this, he faced neglect from his parents, abuse from his friends and sister, and was told by everyone to give up his dream. One day, 13-year-old Izuku couldn't take it anymore. He ran away from the family that abandoned him for being born the way he was. On that night, a miracle happened. It's amazing what you're capable of when you cut out the things that held you back.
