Elemental High is a school for elemetal teens. They are taught how to connect with the elements and control their own special gifts.
Lyla Grill was born with two gifts, because of this she has been outcasted by her peers. They fear her strength. She's living with just her older sister who owns her own cafe, their parents dead and unable to provide answers for why Lyla was born so special. Lyla has always been curious about her history. However, her sister has no answers for her. Lyla sometimes babysits for some extra money of her own. One day, she babysits for the most popular boy in Elemental High, Josh Fry. It turns out he is a single dad as of 6 months ago.
The two begin to spend more time together and Lyla realises that Josh isn't the person she thought he was. Josh begins to realise everyone is wrong about Lyla, she is not some out of control psyco who cannot control her gifts. The two get closer and sparks start to fly, but where there are sparks there's fire. Will their love blow up in flames or sour like a bird?
