Y/N Ngwenya is a mutant- more specifically, a black caiman mutant.
They were a zookeeper located in California, and their main station was maintaining, training, and documenting the alligators present. About 4 years into their job, they were one of the last staff to leave when they felt the pinch of a bug bite before experiencing an indescribable amount of pain.
"The glass is dirtier on the other side..."
When they regained consciousness after blacking out from pain, they were staring directly into the eyes of the biggest alligator they were to take care of. They panicked and scrambled up to their feet, letting out a loud noise in an attempt to dishearten the predator. The noise that came out was something they heard often, but it had never come out of them before. The creatures that surrounded them also seemed surprised by the noise they emitted, and most of them had retreated back into the water. Thats when they observed themself, and noticed the changes- IS THAT A FUCKING TAIL?!

Anyways, hi! I'm North, and this is my Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Reader story. Reader has been given a last name, and they will also be referred to as multiple nicknames and be using they/them pronouns. Reader is almost 21 years old and other characters have been aged up accordingly.
I curse a lot and have fairly dark humor, so this is both your warning and your apology.

I have been getting emails from strangers asking me for "Cold Fire" or to write a new story in the same world, a world in which Michelangelo gains telekinetic and telepathic powers via alien technology but at a nearly fatal price. And he's the comedic prankster with secret brilliant intelligence, the loud silly annoying weird hedonist with ADHD and natural ninja skills who could be the most powerful martial artist if he'd concentrate his potential. It irritated me at first when April O'Neil was brought in as a hybrid teen human with Kraang DNA and psychic powers. But once it was established that in Dimension X, Michelangelo was very powerful, I realized that potentially, Mikey could also have Kraang DNA, which is why he is able to navigate Dimension X as if it were his natural state. "Hey, in crazy backwards land, crazy backwards dude is king." And it does make me wonder if the writers will actually touch upon that. If Mikey really has Utrom DNA, and if it is activated, would he be potentially psychic? I'm not waiting to find out. This story takes place in the middle of Season 4. But I imagine they could take a break for a few months to deal with... um... this. It's technically an AU since I ignore and expand the canon six months. Warnings for gore, violence, language, descriptions of medical procedures. Hallucinations and creepy nightmares abound. I get very rough with Mikey and his brain.)Complete
