Feathers of Anarchy (Countryhumans!Wings AU)
Every countryhuman has their own unique pair of wings, different patterns, different colors... If one is born wingless, then they'll be met with a brutal reset. Each countryhuman's wings are also associated with a type of power. Ice, water, fire... You get it? But over the centuries, there is always a legend about the one winged countryhuman, that could cause forever chaos and havoc with just a touch from its feathers. Of course, they wouldn't allow that type of power to be obtained by such a lower tier person, who knows what they could do with that power? So they gave him a reset, a reset that'll change his life, forever. ... Sometimes countries would try to show dominance over others, while others would rather hide to avoid getting caught up in those situations. But there's one thing that always kept them in check, something that kept them in line. The punishment of losing their wings. Sure they'll still be alive, but they can't regrow their wings, and even worse, their power comes from their wings as well. Read the story to find out the rest, then you'll find out the main problem. A Pocket Full of Stones (Countryhumans)
Cover art is by me! Do not steal! A realm where countryhumans exist, rivals, coalitions, and relationships toss this story of them through tons of unexpected ups and downs. But for now, you'll be following the story of everyone's favorite North American, Canada. After his father made some horrible mistakes while he was a child it puts a wedge in the family that only those two know about. But as he grows older the effects of The Asylum (a place of suffering for Countryhumans after death) take a toll on how he treats others. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything. In this multiverse, exists another beings living alongside humanity, they called themselves Countryhumans, unlike the Countryhumans we know today, they are vastly different, they serve as the physical embodiment of their nations, people, and governments, with these words "Serve and Protect." These Countryhumans helped humanity rise up as their main leaders with their human leaders of various kinds assisted their Countries. Also they have superpowers as each one has different superpowers depending where or who they are. But there are a few problems for the Countryhumans, for centuries they have used by humanity for their selfish desires such as more power, riches, territories, and slaves. Repeatedly humanity has not only brainwashed their Countryhumans but also controlled them like tamed wild lions, under their control humanity has commited countless crimes and genocides throughout the centuries, causing the deaths of many Countryhumans. Unlike humans, Countryhumans are never above them despite their incredible powers they have, but they are not always invincible as their powers have their limits. Although killing a Countryhumans was very hard, but they are easy to kill when they are on the verge of collapse and destruction allowing them to die a mortal death. However, the origin of the Countryhumans was unknown, but every Countryhumans believed they are the descendants of the Mother Goddess but nothing is known about her to this day.
