Meet Lydia Carter, born and raised in Forney, Texas. She was your average country girl, from her baseball cap, down to her boots. Her parents were divorced when she was 5, and her mom moved to West Jordan, Utah, where she wanted to be with her new family. So her dad raised her. She hated just about every girl in her school, all of them were either Cheeto girls or preppy girls. Not one of them knew how to fish, or to even drive a truck. The same goes for the guys, so she never really fit in, but she did have her best friend Tilly Cash, she was the daughter of her dad's best friend Roy Cash. But one day a new guy moves to town, and she fell in love immediately, when he walked in, he was sporting a Stenson cowboy hat and Ariat boots. But what happens when her dad dies from an accident on the ranch, and he leaves it to her? What happens when this new guy she meets, turns out to be completely different than she thought?
