Sonic Forces: The Untold Story
As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders). If you wanna see what Sonic Forces COULD have been, then feel free to jump into this What If Story. DISCLAIMER: All the following is my own personal opinion/take. Months after the Sonic Forces war, Team Sonic comes to realize that their enemy has not yet been fully neutralized. Knowing Infinite the jackal still has the Phantom Ruby, our adventurers battle to separate the masked clown from his weapon in a plan that goes horribly wrong. Will our heroes successfully neutralize the enemy? Disclaimer; this story was written roughly a year after Sonic Forces came out, so the writing may not be highly sophisticated... also contains mild no-no language All Sonic characters belong to SEGA. Links to their artwork will be added here in a few moments.] As the events of Sonic Forces come to a close, the resistance may have won the war - but for E-123 Omega, the next battle is within. Dr Eggman's so-called strongest creation was able to contribute little to the great conflict, falling to a state of complete shutdown at the hands of a mind-bending sorcerer. For the first time since he swore to destroy the doctor and all that he stood for, Omega had once again been left with nothing to do but ruminate in the darkness of his own faintly-running programming. Before, he could blame the doctor - now, he could blame only himself. Awoken from six excruciating months out of commission, a new feeling of inadequacy begins festering within Omega. The rest of the world seems content in rebuilding the world with meaningless chores, but Omega can't shake the feeling that he's begun losing his focus, losing his touch for combat. The small-fry Egg Pawns aren't enough - he needs a win, a true win, in a real battle. A big one. With a longing to restore his blood-lust after days of busywork and after meeting with Shadow the Hedgehog, Omega volunteers for a recon mission to the mysterious Lost Hex - with the secret goal of meeting with its bloodthirsty demon king, for a true test of conviction. With a first act set during Omega's time out of commission during Sonic Forces, and a second and third act then set after the end of said game but before IDW#05, Hex Value is an interquel story focused on E-123 Omega. It explores the mental toll left on the character, as well as on those close to him, from their meetings with the vicious Infinite, and what it truly means to feel weak.Complete
Team Sonic Racing - Race to Win!
(There is something new for the Nintendo Switch to make this game and I still love it.) * If everything was different, you could actually get in character. I got the game for myself for the Switch and as I begin to start it up, things are starting to get better for me as I saw headphones, so I put them on and listen to some hard rock music. What's next...? Something strange happening to me as I begin to change, then I notice I was getting IN character. ~~~~~Update~~~~~ Throughout the race everything would be going good, but now the Metal Virus was unleashed! Thanks to Doctor Eggman who made it to make sure he'll win, along with the others who have fallen to the Metal Virus. Will the world's strongest crocodile stop the Metal Virus or will it be the end of the world? ~~~~~Update~~~~~ Peace has been restored thanks to Vector and his Wisp Power. The race is still going on! They happen to find three people who are a team of three have joined the race and surely, they have the Metal Virus on them along with a new Wisp joining in on the race. New custom racetracks, new adventures and new friends have been unlocked and now the race continues! What can possibly go wrong?Complete
