Amidst the dawn of spring - and somewhere in Japan during the prominent era of Samurai warriors - are two opposing individuals who intend to settle their differences with the clash of their blades and the outcome of the hue of a blood red colour.
Kiyoshi is faced with a foe who randomly attacked him from behind. Yet, she is no ordinary enemy he has faced before.
For, with just a glance at her sharp blade, one will realize that they will no longer be able to flee from their past.

Having no body of its own, it uses Saya's blood to forge a vessel to wield itself, donning the name April. Unfortunately for April, the newly born sword woman's battles don't end with just revenge. Cresha is ill with many people that would suffer innocents the same fate as Saya once they get their hands on an artifact. Some of them travel the entire country in search of the sword just as the bandits did. Her objectives are thus: Kill the man responsible for Saya's death, find her fiancé and the Grieva family to inform them of her passing, and wipe out any artifact wielder standing in her way.
