Then Killer was killed. 
Nightmare found a replacement quickly enough, but this new Killer isn't the same as the old one, and the gang are having a hard time adjusting.

This takes place in an AU thats not really an AU, seeing as there are no undertale characters. There is a "Gang" in this school, it is comprised of Nightmare, Error, Cross, Killer, Horror, and Dust. Everyone is afraid of them, except for the Star Sanses. Eventually, one of the star sanses, Ink, is able to befriend one of the bad guys, Error. Error starts to develop feelings for the artist, but, when something bad happens to Ink, error wonders if he'll ever get a chance. {This is an extremely slow-burn! You have been warned.}

Killer was his most loyal worker. So he decided he had to end this "friendship." The question Killer asks is, why? "Why do you need me to feel nothing? Why do you want me to be a part of your crew? You always tell me how useless I am. If I'm so useless, why do you need me?" Nightmare couldn't give him an answer. The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt.
