Reach's fall was inevitable. No number of Spartans, frigates, or orbital stations could save it from the sheer might of the Covenant. Fortunately, the fall of Reach does not have to be in vain. Noble Team has an important mission that has no room for failure. Meanwhile, nearly the opposite is happening to a small Legion of Covenant forces, having found themselves at odds with the very pretense of the Covenant. Their questioning of the Great Journey has put them on a path that has lead to them seeking unusual allies.

This is an alternate history of Halo that doesn't change the general direction and major events, but adds a bit more flavor. My goal for this is to write a Halo story that has grounds in the official timeline while still remaining my own story and not entirely a rehash of the games and extended material.

Certain individuals that I particularly like will remain alive, while others will remain dead. Others still will survive as to further the plot of the story. I hope I can fit some Easter eggs in.All Rights Reserved
